In a highly anticipated bout for this year's title at the Schnapsen card playing tournament at BT-Anlagenbau, many highly motivated card players from various areas of the company proved their skills. From PLC programming specialists, production and technology to the sales team, management and administration: All areas were represented and brought their A-game to the table.
Employing coy tactics and a bit of luck, our Managing Director Gerald Kreiner was able to clinch the title in a gripping finale. As a result, the 60-cm-tall challenge cup will now adorn his home for one year. With impressive performances, Martin Heinrich and Rainer Haas secured second and third place, respectively.
Besides the coveted challenge cup, the participants (management excluded, as usual) received additional attractive prizes. These included accommodation and hot spa vouchers, a weekend with a sport or luxury vehicle of choice, experience and wellness vouchers as well as tool kits, sponsored by renowned companies such as Dallmayr, SHT, Roger, Sixt, Comstruct, Rittal, Rexel, Kellner & Kunz, Helukabel, Würth, Gogatec, ACP, Phoenix and many more. These generous prizes motivated and inspired the participants even more. Spectators were also provided with a special highlight. 10 minutes prior to the finals, a product voucher worth 300 Euro (donated by Siemens) was raffled off with Roland Heller the lucky winner.
The event’s culinary dimension perfectly mirrored the season with delicious chestnuts and refreshing young raspberry wine rounding off the offerings. Lapp once again donated hearty sausages this year.
With this event, BT-Anlagenbau wanted to thank all employees for their exemplary dedication and extraordinary performance during the year.
