Construction finesse with added value for the region

In 2022, ECE-LOG, the intralogistics division of BT-Anlagenbau, successfully launched a sophisticated project in Slovenia. Paloma, a member of the SHP Group, needs a fully automated warehouse for approximately 24,000 pallet lots. The big challenge is the acute lack of space and the simultaneous desire to optimise the flow of materials. Therefore, the new warehouse is built directly on the production hall without further ado. The SHP Group, Slovak Hygienic Paper Group, is one of the largest producers of hygienic paper in Central and South-Eastern Europe. This project is also the first time that a palletising system, i.e. everything for palletising and packing the products on the pallet, has been supplied by an associated company in the form of STATEC Binder. A project that was thoroughly implemented by BT Group companies. As part of the project, ECE-LOG received approximately 20 pallets with around 36,000 high-quality toilet paper rolls as test specimens from the customer Paloma. After the product tests were completed, the client allowed us to give the intact products away to charitable organisations. Since regionality is very important to us, Chance B in Gleisdorf and Tafel Österreich in Weiz, St. Margarethen and Markt Hartmannsdorf were chosen as the receivers.
