Schnapsen card playing tournament 2022

After a two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the traditional Schnapsen card playing tournament among the employees of BT-Anlagenbau finally took place again this year.

All the greater was the joy and enthusiasm among the players as well the audience.

A host of keen card players, ranging from experts in electrical engineering, manufacturing, HVAC installation and technology, to sales and purchasing to head of department, management and administration, gathered to show off their skills. Also about the participation of guest player Erwin Binder sen. everyone was very happy.

Due to the large number of highly experienced players, this year's tournament developed into an extremely exciting competition for victory. Employing cunning and with luck on his side, financial director and owner Wolfgang Binder finally won the exciting tournament final against Johann Käfer, Acceptance of Goods & Internal Transport Plant Brodersdorf. The winner can now call the 60 cm high challenge cup his own for a year, while second-placed Johann Käfer received Thermenland vouchers, sponsored by SHT, and a bottle of champagne. Guest of honour Erwin Binder sen. placed a respectable third and was rewarded with an exclusive overnight package, sponsored by Roger. The countless other prizes, such as thermal spa, restaurant and merchandise vouchers, high-quality tool sets and gift baskets with culinary delicacies, sponsored by companies such as Dallmayr, Siemens, Phoenix, Rittal, Rexel, Kellner & Kunz, Comstruct, Sixt, Energie AG and many more, also ensured plenty of motivation and enthusiasm among the tournament participants. And the spectators who gave their support were not forgotten and participated in a raffle for three top prizes, which were drawn after the competition. Culinary delights were also on offer: In addition to chestnuts, young wine and tasty sausages, sponsored by Lapp, original Cambodian spring rolls were prepared by reception assistant Sinah Meas.
