Quality is everything. Technicians, materials, design, fabrication – all of these aspects are interrelated and must be traceable. But when switch cabinets leave the BT-Anlagenbau factory, they are entrusted to the care of third parties.
To assure quality to 100% even during the transport phase, the management has decided that every consignment of control cabinets that is shipped from BT-Anlagenbau will be fitted with shock and/or tilt indicators.
What does that mean for our clients or installation foremen? It means that as soon as the products arrive on-site, they can see whether they have been transported correctly, without mishaps, just by checking whether the indicator strips are white or red. This makes the subsequent checking of the equipment easier and provides a first warning that something might not be right. We are confident that using these indicators will bring about a qualitative change in the handling of our goods by our shipping contractors. To date we have not had any significant transport problems but we have taken this step anyway, in order to complete the reach of our quality policy.
