Large project for Magna Steyr Graz begins.

Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik is expanding their warehouse capacity for unpainted and painted car bodies by adding a new building at their factory in Graz, and has turned to their trusted supplier ECE-LOG, an essential part of BT-Anlagenbau, to build the fully automatic high-bay storage system for the warehouse, including three state-of-the-art storage and retrieval machines.

We will be applying our years of experience as a general contractor in all phases of this project. More than 200 new elements from AAT will be installed to optimize the existing horizontal conveyor system. In addition, ECE-LOG will also deliver the steel structure, the facade, the roof and the fire protection systems as well as the conveyor systems and the automation will be delivered by ECE-LOG.

The special challenges of this project are to modify systems during normal factory operations, the limited space available and the strict cleanroom standards.
