Stapla supplies the whole of Austria with everything surrounding forklift trucks, i.e. sales, service and spare parts, from hand pallet trucks to heavy-duty forklifts. Conversion and upgrade work is now necessary at its headquarters in Gleisdorf-Albersdorf, which the company moved into in 2012. But solar power, charging station and conversion to LED lighting from a single source sounds almost too good to be true. At stapla, for example, 155 m2 of solar panels with an annual output of more than 28,000 kWh were built, a charging station was set up that now quickly charges the company’s vehicles, and the entire lighting system was converted from fluorescent tubes to LED technology. The new lighting system alone is 58 % more efficient than the old one.
