BT-Anlagenbau at the dance hall

What rock ‘n’ roll and control cabinets have in common

1987 must’ve been a fantastic year. The time was ripe for ambitious people with a vision. Not only was BT-Anlagenbau founded in that year, St. Ruprecht an der Raab, a mere 10 kilometres from Ludersdorf, also saw the foundation stone for the Formation 88 rock ‘n’ roll and boogie club being laid. One year later, the association held its first plenary meeting. Since then, many prizes were won, many tournaments were held and, most importantly, many children and adolescents were motivated. For most of its 170 members are less than 18 years old.

For the last 20 years, they have been among the best in Europe in partner and formation dancing. Currently, there are three girls’ tournament formations, with the ‘Crazy Angels’ being one of them. They’re made up of twelve ambitious young girls between the ages of 13 and 15. This year, they were able to dance their way to the Austrian title for the sixth time in a row and they're also among the best in the world, making them the most successful girls’ formation in Austria.

What does that have to do with control cabinets, you might ask? Competent planning? Absolute precision? And the ambition to be the best in the world? That, and much more. For one of the dancers is the daughter of a very proud BT-Anlagenbau employee. And what moves our employees also moves us. After all, BT-Anlagenbau is particularly passionate about training the next generation. From robotics teams to dance formations, we are proud to be supporting our region's young.
