Robocup is the biggest competition for robot technology worldwide. The Higher Technical Institute (HTL) in Weiz has been entering teams in the competition since 2006 and they have racked up a string of successes including six national titles and five world championship titles.
The selection of the Austrian teams to travel to this year‘s world Robocup was done as part of the Austrian Robocup Open in Innsbruck from 1 to 3 April. 350 competitors from 10 countries took part in several different disciplines. Once again this year the teams from HTL Weiz won the catagories ‘On Stage’ and ‘Cospace’ and qualified for the world cup in Leipzig at the end of June.
“We are very proud to support this success“,
