With more than 1100 exhibitors from 27 countries, in a show covering 85,000 m2 of floor area, the LogiMAT in Stuttgart is one of the most important trade fairs for distribution, material and information flows. It is a good place to find out about how to manage complexity and prepare for the future. From 10–12 February, the exhibitors and their experts presented themselves and their latest developments. Visitors were given a strong impression of the dynamism and innovative energy of the intralogistics sector.
At this year’s LogiMAT we were proud to present ECE-LOG, the new brand of BT-Anlagenbau for warehousing and intralogistics, for the first time. This is not an easy market for new brands. But the chances of establishing a brand are better if it stands for experience, expertise and flexibility. ECE-LOG made an impression with high-bay storage systems, material flow systems, warehouse management, system control and customer service. Visitors were able to experience our service quality on the spot: ECE-LOG department manager Thomas Lafer, sales manager Thomas Hirtenfelder and the head of image processing, Manfred Gschweitl, were on hand to share their knowledge and present the benefits and adaptability of ECE-LOG’s solutions for all kinds of business.
The stand exhibited the new Doppelmover, which lifts and transports two palettes at a time, and the newly developed CX Vision system. This new processing station reads and checks batch numbers and replaces missing straps on cartons. Many visitors were amazed by how well and efficiently the system works and how much time it can save.
