As part of the annual Take Tech action days, more than 50 students from the HTL Weiz, Technical High School, and the Polytechnic Pischelsdorf took the opportunity once again this year to gain exciting insights into the BT-Anlagenbau company.
The guided tour through the company was kicked-off by a welcoming address from MD, Gerald Kreiner, and familiarised the visitors with the wide range of work activities that are offered in electrical and automation engineering. The different works processes were brought closer to the interested visitors by precise explanations from our technicians, trainees and apprentices, who presented their varied activities in detail. And of course, the visitors also found it particularly exciting and challenging to try out their technical knowledge in practice. For the pupils of the HTL Weiz, this involved dividing into small groups and trying their skills at fault finding on control cabinets. In the meanwhile, visitors from the Polytechnic Pischelsdorf were informed about the opportunities for vocational training at BT-Anlagenbau and the associated career prospects.
Finally, as a perfect ending to an interesting and educationally informative day, the young guests were served a well-deserved refreshments in the workshop.
We thank the students of the HTL Weiz and the Polytechnic Pischelsdorf for their interest in BT-Anlagenbau and look forward to the Take Tech days in 2016!
