Unremarkable, plain white and half covered with a tarpaulin. That is how the container that holds a mobile switchgear looks from outside. And if it were not for the many technicians getting it ready for operation, you might well overlook it. But a small view inside will soon reveal why this container is so sought after all over the world.
At times when flexibility is a top priority, the compact station from BT-Anlagenbau facilitates a simple change of location or rapid alterations during modernisation projects, through prefabrication, as well as all-weather operation with portable plant and facilities. The rapid installation time is just one benefit of the BT-Anlagenbau compact station where forward-thinking operators, who value flexibility and reliability, are supported in their future projects through our many years of experience and broad industry expertise.
The SIEMENS SIVACON S8 is synonymous with cost effective operation, minimised downtime and optimised utilisation. This low-voltage switchgear sets new standards as a power distributor, both for industrial applications and in power transmission infrastructure. Due to the modular design, SIVACON S8 can be adapted to every requirement. This enables BT Anlagenbau to produce type-tested switchgear to IEC 61439 for power ranges up to 7,000 amperes and supply it as a mobile compact station all over the world in a modified container.
100 operators; 100 requirements; 100 versions.
Individual design versions are the heart of the compact system. Against customer request, they can be delivered as climate-independent, weatherproof, fireproof (T30 or T60), sound insulated, transportable, stackable, air-conditioned, ventilated and illuminated units, as well as suitable for marking, with a double bottom or individual access and in an individual RAL colour.
It is not surprising therefore, with so many features and benefits, that the supply of container switchgear is at peak levels. Despite this, the large number of orders from abroad has even surprised us and continues to keep all of the BT-Anlagenbau team full occupied.
