On 21 October 2015, the Ministry of Economic Affairs awarded the state prize for „Best training enterprises - Fit for Future“. With its submission, BT-Anlagenbau has also been credited as the best training enterprise in the logistics industry and the best training enterprise in Eastern Styria.
For the whole of Austria in the category up to 250 employees, BT-Anlagenbau gained 7th place. In Styria, our company is the second best training enterprise. Along with the last federal award for 2013 (Best training enterprise in Styria and 6th place in Austria), this ranking confirms the success of apprenticeship training.
196 companies competed throughout Austria for the coveted award. The greatest gain for BT-Anlagenbau, in being the best in the region, is that 100% of the apprentices are from the district. In order to give them the best possible training, the company launched the apprenticeship initiative in 2013, turned the curriculum on its head, and now trains and develops innovative and above all individual trainees into full-blown, highly motivated and skilled workers within 3 years. At the heart of this are the needs of the individual. If alternative strengths crystallize during training, than those originally thought of, then the apprentice is encouraged in this direction. Teenagers therefore have 15 different career options, from installation technician up to project manager.
From Ludersdorf to the whole wide world: BT-Anlagenbau not only exports throughout the world, it also often carries out installation in the remotest regions. This means that mature trainees even gain their first overseas experience in England, Russia or China. In order that they can make themselves understood while abroad, there are additional classes in English language as well as workshops on the various cultures.
„We are proud to offer young people vocational training that promotes their individual strengths and boost their confidence, wherever they are right now,“ says Ing. Gerald Kreiner, Managing Director of BT-Anlagenbau.
